Venice!!

We woke up around 9:30 after a pretty restful night sleep. It was pretty chilly and foggy out in the morning, but it warmed up a bit when the sun was overhead. We were happy that the bathrooms and showers were not far from our little trailer/cabin. Other than Ashley cutting her finger tip on my razor while unloading our shower stuff the morning went off well and soon we  had our lunches packed and we were off to meet the boat which would take us to Venice! We had just missed the first boat, so we had fun taking pictures while we waited for the next one. Venice was absolutely beautiful and the buildings sometimes made my heart race! I'm sure that Ashley was tired of hearing me say how amazing everything was, but if she was, she didn't show it. We both enjoyed seeing all of the sights and of course we took a ton of pictures. At Doges Palace there were hundreds and hundreds of people and it was a bit congested. The line to get in was veryyyyy long and we decide to go back tomorrow and see if there might be less people since today was still the weekend and maybe on a Monday there might be less people...we hope. Although I don't know the names of the churches, there are sooo many amazing and beautiful old churches with tall towers, detailed statues and ornamental stone carvings. I took soo many pictures! Seeing all of the colorful buildings and cute little windows with clothes on the line to dry was just as great as I could have dreamed! The charming little alley ways, the canals, gondolas, and all the little shops were just fun to see and It was hard to really grasp that we were really here! We have talked about that multiple times- it's just so humbling to think of where we have been and where we are right now. Life is such a great thing and change is amazing! I'm so glad that Ashley has learned how to set fears, excuses and doubts aside and just make her dreams happen! She is such an inspiration to me! I'm so blessed to be here, and even more blessed to be here with her :)
